Xây dựng mô hình ngân hàng máu hiếm tại trung tâm huyết học - truyền máu Hải Phòng

The rate of people with the blood group of RhD(-) among Vietnamese population is very low (about 0.07 percent). However, the needed of this blood group for treatment is constantly increasing. The current situation leads to the need of set up a sustainable live blood bank for the RhD(-) at Hai Phong city. Since 2008, Hai Phong Hematology and Blood Transfusion center has set up the live blood bank of RhD(-) through the following activities: - identitv the donors with RhD (-) in community in blood collection activities at fixed sites and mobile sites by testing. - Invite their relatives of patients with RhD(-) to has tests to confirm whether they carry the group of RhD( -). - Invite/encourage them to give blood when required.
