Xu hướng mắc một số bệnh không lây nhiễm ở bệnh nhân điều trị nội trú tại bệnh viện đa khoa tỉnh Điện Biên 2007-2011

Non-communicable disease (NCDs) is becoming burden for health care system in developing countries, especially Vietnam. However. there is no study on trend of NCDs in Dien Bien province. Objectives: To investigate trend of some NCDs in DienBien during 2007 - 2011. Subjects and method: retrospective study based on hospital records were implemented from June 2007 to December 2011 at the DienBien General Hospital. Results: The proportion of NCDs was higher than communicable diseases. The highest proportion of in-patient treatment was hypertension and complication of hypertension. NCDs increasing by years while communicable diseases decreasing by the year.
