Innominate. osteotomy procedures have been widely used as an integral component of combined surgery to treat hip dislocation in children. This study reviewed clinical and imaging diagnosis of 79 hips presenting with Developmental Dysplasia of the hip which were treated by modified innomiate osteotomy combined with fibular allograft according to Hung's methodology. Classification of hip dysplasia was done according to Tonnis' mehod. The minimum follow up period was 2 years. Between January 2009 and December 2011, 79 surgeries were performed in 73 patients. Sixty-three (86.3 percent) of the patients were girls and ten (13.7 percent) were boys. All patients ranged from 12 and 36 months old, with the mean age of 22.4 months at the time of surgery. Pre-operatively, Acetabular index mean 42.5°; Post-operatively, mean 18.9°. Modified innomiate osteotomy according to Hung's method and fibular allografting achieved excellent osteotomy stability. This suggested that the method of combining modified innomiate osteotomy with fibrobular allograpty is a safe and effective corrective surgery for children suffering with Developmental Dysplasia.
