Đánh giá hiệu quả thuốc ức chế thần kinh cơ trên bệnh nhân thở máy điều trị ARDS ở bệnh nhân bỏng nặng

Objective: To evaluate the effects of neuromuscular blocking agents (NMBA) on blood gas exchange over a 48h in ventilated burn patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Study method: 20 burn patients with ARDS were sedated in combination. with opioids to achieve RASS = 0 then supplemented with NMBA for the next 48 hrs. Patients were ventilated as guideline of ARDS net work. Results: During 48h of ventilation, there was an improvement of PaO2/FIO2 ratio (p 0.01). Moreover, decrease of peak pressure and plateau pressure (p 0.01) and no case of lung pressure injury were recorded. Conclusions: Using NMBA during a 48h period in patients with ARDS is associated with a sustained improvement in blood oxygenation.
