Objectives: To evaluate the results of treatment and determine some factors relating to the results of surgical subdural hematoma acute at the Thai Nguyen National General Hospital. Methods: Describe prospective cross-sectional about 73 patients were diagnosed subdural hematoma and surgery at the Thai Nguyen National General Hospital from 1/06/2013 to 12/2014. The results were evaluated on the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) after coming out of hospital and after 6 months. Analyzing factors affect treatment-outcomes to identify prognostic factors. Results: The mean age of the study subjects: 36.7 +/- 18.3. Traffic accidents are the major cause of injuries (60.3 percent). Results of treatment are nearly 55/73 patients (75.3 percent) alive and recovery, with good-recovery is 16.4 percent and 32.9 percent fairly. However, there were 24.7 percent of death. The results of examination after 6 months have good-recovery rate increased to 36.4 percent, 45.5 percent fairly, no more patients died or lived-plants. State of consciousness of the patient (point of Glasgow), hematoma thickness and degree of displacement the mid-line are important prognostic factors, have greatly influenced the outcome after surgery. Conclusion: The results of treatment are nearly 55/73 patients (75.3 percent) alive and recovery, with good recovery is 16.4 percent and 32.9 percent fairly. However, there were 24.7 percent of death. The results of examination after 6 months have good-recovery rate increased to 36.4 percent, 45.5 percent fairly, no more patients died or lived-plants. This results is depend on the prognostic factors.
