
Objective: To evaluate situation of out-of hospital cardiac arrest resuscitation in Hanoi after application on cardiac arrest resuscitation guideline 2010 of the American Heart Assodation. Methods: a prospective research on 520 out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients who were managed by 115 sift from August 2011 to August 2012. Results: The average time from receiving the call to on location is 13.35 + or - 6.62 minutes; 58,27 percent of callers are training cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the number of patients who having retum of circulation on location are 7,59 percent, the number of patients who survive to emergency department are 4,48 percent. Condusions: Application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation guideline has enhanced people knowledge on cardiac arrest resuscitation and improved not only emergency efficacy but also treatment on out-of hospital cardiac arrest patients.
