Objective: To examine the changes of hemodynamic parameters of septic shock patients. Subject: 56 septic shock patients indicated to set up the arterial line as well as the catheter Swan- Ganz to measure hemodynamic parameters during treatment. Study method: prospective descriptive. Conclusion: The nonsurvivors tend to have a higher central venous pressure (CVP), higher pulmonary artery wedge pressure (PAWP), higher cardiac index (0) than the survivor but the difference is not statistically significant (p0.05). The nonsurvivors have a lower systemic vascular systemic (SVR) than the survivor but this difference lacks statistically significant (p0.05). Both survivors and nonsurvivors had mean blood pressure more than 65mmHg. The survivors have a significant lower blood lactate concentration than the survivor (p0.05).
