
Characteristics of weather, nectar resources and physical habits of honey bees relate interactively together, affect to bee health and honey quality very much. According to the honey season, 3 phases of survey on risk factors related to residues in honey of 18 honey farms, 10 honey processing establisments were carried out; honey samples collected simultaneously, analysed residues, including heavy metals, residues of pesticides, antibiotics including banned substances in honey samples. The results indicated that: - Honey beekeepers have not had of a thorough knowledge of veterinary hygiene requirements in bee raising and management of honey bee flock to meet all veterinary hygiene requirements; - Streptomycine, enrofloxacin, sulfadiazine and CAP found in samples in the bee feeding period and the period for honey pre-harvesting of the 2nd and the 3rd sample collecting phases. Some recommendations for the safe honey production have been suggested.
