
The paper report a case of malignant intracranial dural arteriovenous fistula in which the feeding arteries were posterior meningeal arteries originated in left occipital artery and left vertebral artery, the same draining vein was ipsilateral sigmoid sinus. The lesion resulted in severely retrograde flow into cortical veins correlative with clinical aggressive neurological symptoms. The authors did endovascular treatment successfully. Consciousness and some of different symptoms of patient were recovered immediately after. Intracranial dural arteriovenous fistulas are relatively rare lesions and difficult to diagnose. This case was the first of intracranial dural arteriovenous fistulas cured by endovascular treatment in No.175 Military Hospital.
