
Triple test in maternal serum can detect pregnancy at high risk of chromosomal abnormalities. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of the triple screening test in a number of chromosomal abnormalities of the fetus by 3.2 Software Lifecycle. Subjects: 629 pregnant women with triple screening tests at 15-19 weeks gestational age from 6 days at high risk for fetal chromosomal abnormalities (positive tests) advice amniotic fluid aspiration to confirm the diagnosis. Study design: cross-sectional descriptive. Results: The use of trip,le threshold screening tests with high risk of Down syndrome or = 1/250. There were 26/28 with fetal Down syndrome , detection rate was 92.85 percent and a false positive rate of 5.6 percent. With Edwards syndrome screening threshold or = 1/100, detection rate of fetal Edwards syndrome is 71.42 percent (5/7). Detection rate of chromosomal abnormalities in general is 84.78 percent and the false positive rate is 5.82 percent. Conclusion: The use of triple screening test in a number of chromosomal abnormalities by prenatal Atodelfia system with 3.2 software Lifecycle very high sensitivity and 84.78 percent false positive rate is 5.82 percent.
