Medicinal plants have an important role in our life, especially in health care. Therefore, the data management of precious medicinal plants is very important and contributes to the management and conversation of each specie. One of the effective solutions is to build a database system of medicinal plants in Vietnam. This database system will help managers in exploring, maintaining and conserving effectively. The article's authors Huan has given a solution for building "a database warehouse" which will be used to acquisi, explore and manage medicinal plants. This data system is managing 500 trees. Following the results of the research work, this paper proposes a solution for exploring the database warehouse of the medicinal plants. That is the analysis and design a system of querying medicinal plants in Vietnam based on choosing the typical features of leaves. This result will be a major premise to give solutions for reorganization and treatment of medicinal plants quickly, effectively based on their characteristics and their use.
