
Introduction and objective: to evaluate the results of laparoscopic urologic surgery in No.108 Military Central Hospital. Patients and method: A retrospective cross. sectional study was performed on 579 patients with urological diseases who underwent laparoscopic procedures from January 2009 to January 2013. Results: The laparoscopic procedures includes: adrenalectomy, adrenal cystectomy, simple nephrectomy for benign diseases, resection of benign renal tumor, renal partial cystectomy, upper-ureteral lithotomy, varicocelectomy, resection of retroperitoneal cysts, pyeloplasty. Mean operation timefrom 27.2 to 150 mins; success rate 87.7 percent, open conversion 12.3 percent; the rate of intra- and postoperative complications were 9.6 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively; no mortality; mean hospital stay 5.1 days. Conclusion: The laparoscopic urologic surgery was applied to treat some urological diseases in No.108 Military Central Hospital with high success rate and low complication rate.
