Khảo sát việc thực hiện quy trình và một số chỉ số cấp phát thuốc cho người bệnh khám, điều trị ngoại trú bảo hiểm y tế tại Bệnh viện Trường Đại học Y dược Cần Thơ năm 2021

Distributing medicine is an important process in the rational drug use cycle, if any error occurs, it will seriously affect the health of the patient. Objectives: Determining the rate of some drug dispensing indicators, the average dispensing time, and the proportion of prescriptions dispensed according to the correct procedure for outpatient medical examination and treatment with health insurance at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in 2021. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study design on patients and 384 prescriptions from outpatients with health insurance who came to receive drugs at the drug dispensing counter at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in 2021. Results: The rate of the medication dispensed correctly was 100%; The percentage of drugs adequately labeled was 87,6%; The percentage of patients with drug dosage knowledge was 53.1%; The average wait time was 280,4 seconds; The average distributing time was 127.1 seconds; The rate of prescriptions dispensed correctly according to the process 88.3%. Conclusion: The implementation of the process and a number of drug dispensing indicators need to be concerned and improved to ensure that drugs are dispensed fully and accurately to patients.
