Tuân thủ quy tắc vệ sinh hô hấp và vệ sinh khi ho là một trong số các biện pháp chính trong thực hành phòng ngừa chuẩn tại các cơ sở khám, chữa bệnh nhằm giảm tối đa nhiễm khuẩn bệnh bệnh viện. Mục tiêu: Mô tả kiến thức về thực hiện quy tắc vệ sinh hô hấp của nhân viên y tế (NVYT) Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương và phân tích một số yếu tố liên quan. Phương pháp: Điều tra cắt ngang, nghiên cứu định lượng. Kết quả: Nghiên cứu thu thập thông tin từ 323 nhân viên y tế (NVYT), Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương thông qua phát vấn bằng phiếu. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, tỷ lệ NVYT có kiến thức về thực hiện quy tắc vệ sinh hô hấp đạt 72,4%. Có 4 yếu tố liên quan bao gồm: tuổi, vị trí công tác, thời gian công tác và trình độ chuyên môn (p<0,05).
Compliance with respiratory hygiene and cough hygiene rules is one of the main measures in standard prevention practices in medical examination and treatment facilities to minimize hospital infections. Objectives: Describe the knowledge on implementation of respiratory hygiene rules of medical staff at the National Eye Hospital and analyze some related factors. Methods: Cross-sectional survey, quantitative research. Results: This study collected information from 323 health workers (NVYT), National Eye Hospital through questionnaires. The research results show that, rate of health workers with knowledge on implementation of respiratory hygiene rules reached 72,4%. There are 4 factors related to knowledge on implementation of respiratory hygiene rules including: age, working position, working time and professional qualifications (p<0.05).
