Objectives of the study were to describe the difficulties of HIV-infected pregnant women in considering whether or not give birth and explore the roles of family and community influence decision making of HIV positive pregent women in reproductive choices. The results showed that HIV - infected pregnant women face difficulties in deciding whether or not to have baby with the concerns of both maternal and child health status, and about children's future after their parents pass away. Making the final decision for reproductive choices, not only depends on women themselves, but also depends on the decisions of their family members. Stigma to HIV/ AIDs people and unsupportive atitude from community for HIV positive people to have children were barriers for their reproductive choices. In conclusions, the emotional and spycological support for HIV - infected pregnant women's from family members as well as supportive and approval attitute for childbearing from the community play important roles for the women in reproductive choices.
