Xác định các đặc điểm hình ảnh giải phẫu tuyến giáp bình thường trên siêu âm và sự tương quan của kích thước tuyến giáp với các yếu tố độ tuổi, giới tính, dân tộc và BMI. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện trên 172 bệnh nhân đến khám tại Bệnh viện Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ từ tháng 5 năm 2021 đến tháng 12 năm 2022. Đối tượng được chọn theo phương pháp lấy mẫu thuận tiện đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn lựa chọn và loại trừ. Kết quả: Kích thước trung bình của thùy phải (cao x rộng x dày) là 45,59 x 16,67 x 14,03mm và thùy trái là 43,04 x 16,08 x 12,08mm. Độ dày eo tuyến giáp trung bình là 2,62 mm. Thể tích tuyến giáp trung bình của thùy phải và trái ở đối tượng nghiên cứu lần lượt là 5,24ml và 4,31ml. Không tìm thấy sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê giữa kích thước tuyến giáp và các yếu tố như: tuổi, giới tính, dân tộc và BMI. Kết luận: Nhìn chung, kích thước thùy phải của tuyến giáp lớn hơn thùy trái (p<0,001), độ dày thùy phải của tuyến giáp ở nam lớn hơn nữ (p= 0,04). Không có sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê giữa kích thước tuyến giáp và các yếu tố như tuổi tác, giới tính, dân tộc và BMI.
Currently, there is no research to provide data on images of normal thyroid anatomy on ultrasound, to serve as documentation for doctors to diagnose thyroid imaging in the country in general and the Mekong Delta region in particular. Research objective: determine the anatomical characteristics of the normal thyroid gland on ultrasound and the correlation of thyroid size with factors such as age, gender, ethnicity and BMI. Matenals and method: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 172 patients examined at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital from May 2021 to December 2022. Subjects were selected using the convenience sampling method to meet the criteria, inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results:. The average size of the right lobe (height x width x thickness) is 45.59 x 16.67 x 14.03mm and the left lobe is 43.04 x 16.08 x 12.08mm. The average thyroid isthmus thickness is 2.62 mm. The average thyroid volume of the right and left lobes in the study subjects was 5.24ml and 4.31ml, respectively. No statistically significant differences were found between thyroid size and factors such as age, gender, ethnicity and BMI.. Conclusion: In general, the size of the right lobe of the thyroid gland is larger than the left lobe (p < 0.001), the thickness of the right lobe of the thyroid gland in men is larger than in women (p = 0.04). There were no statistically significant differences between thyroid size and factors such as age, gender, ethnicity and BMI.
