Nghiên cứu tình hình, đặc điểm bệnh lậu tại bệnh viện da liễu trung ương

Objective: To investigate the situation and characteristics of gonorrhoea at the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (NHDV). Material and Method: the cross-sectional study based on data gathered from 1946 patients with gonorrhoea at the NHDV from 01/2006 to 12/2010. Results: During 5 years, there were 1946 patients with gonorrhoea, accounting for 9.6 percent of patients with sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and 0.24 percent of patients at out patient department, in which 35.1 percent of patients was woman, 64.9 percent of patients was man. There was 79 percent of patients suffered from acute gonorrhoea, 19.5 percent of patients with chronic phrase and 1.4 percent of patients with keratitis. The pathology occurs in everyone; however, the number of patients being free-workers was the highest, the lowest were police and solder. Conclusion: gonorrhoea accounted for 9.6 percent of all STI at the National hospital venereology. It mainly occurred in the age of sexual-activity. Most of patients was free workers suferred from acute period.
