Objectives: Measurement of AFP and CA125 levels according to histological types of ovarian embryonal tumours. Subjectives and Methods: A cross-sectional retrospective descriptive study was carried on 50 patients with embryonal tumours of ovary operated at national hospital of Obstrics and Gynaecology from 2005 to 2012. Results: The high level rate of AFP was 46.0 percent, in which 100 percent in Yolk sac tumours, 47.2 percent in embryonal cardnomas, 34.8 percent in immature teratomas and 15.1 percent in dysgerminomas. The high level rate of CA125 was 72.5 percent, in which 100 percent in embryonal carcinomas, 79.8 percent in Yolk sac tumoursin, 64.7 percent in immature teratomas and 49.1 percent in dysgerminomas. Conclusions: high level rate of AFP in Yolk sac tumours were 100 percent of cases, dysgerminomas rarely have high AFP concentration (15.1 percent). High CA125 concentration is most frequentky seen in Yolk sac tumours (100 percent), followed by Yolk sac tumours and immature teratomas. Dysgerminomas rarely have high CA125 concentration.
