Introduction: Nasal trauma appears in a half of the maxillofacial injuries. In Vietnam, the nasal lesions in cases of severe maxillofadal injuries has not really been considered. This study preliminarily evaluated the results of the secondary augmentation rhinoplasty following injury by Silicon material. Material and method: on 14 patients with severe maxillofacial injuries who were suffered the primary maxillofacial surgery, but secondary nasal deformities nose were noted. Reseach method was prospective study. Results: Most patients satisfied with the outcome after surgery. In 2/14 cases, the materials were extruded must be removed following early sugical interventions post-trauma or other surgical interventions after placing Silicon. Conclusions: Silicon secondary augmentation rhinoplasty following injury is reliable, predictable surgery and decreases hospitalization.
