Hàng năm, Viện Kiểm định Quốc gia Vắc xin và Sinh phẩm Y tế kiểm định chất lượng nhiều lô vắc xin chứa thành phần sởi nhưng chưa có mẫu chuẩn quốc gia. Với mục tiêu thiết lập được lô vắc xin mẫu chuẩn quốc gia sởi đạt tiêu chuẩn WHO, Viện đã phối hợp với Trung tâm Nghiên cứu, Sản xuất Vắc xin và Sinh phẩm Y tế sản xuất một lô vắc xin mẫu chuẩn sởi dự tuyển. Sau sản xuất, lô mẫu chuẩn dự tuyển được đánh giá chất lượng, nối chuẩn với mẫu chuẩn quốc tế để xác định công hiệu của mẫu chuẩn. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy loạt mẫu chuẩn MCQG.SOI.01 đạt tiêu chuẩn của mẫu chuẩn quốc gia, có công hiệu (3,49 ± 0,21) LgCCID50/0,5ml CCID50) có hạn dùng trên 40 năm.
National Institute for Control of Vaccine anh Biologicals controls quality of numorous batchs of measles containing vaccines annually whereas there isn’t any national reference standard for them available yet. With the purpose of establishing a batch of measles vaccines reference standard meets WHO requirements, National Institute for Control of Vaccine anh Biologicals has collaborated with Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals to produce a candidate measles vaccines reference standard one. After producing, the candidate batch was controlled its quality, calibrated agains the international standard to assign the its. The result reveals that measles reference standard lot MCQG. SOI.01 meets the specifcation requirements of a national standard, has potency at (3,49 ± 0,21) LgCCID50/0,5ml CCID50, has a self life of more than 40 years.
