The author reported a case of pelvic kidney complicated by a ureteral stone, which was successfully removed by ureteroscopic lithotripsy. A 33-year-old male patient was admitted to No.108 Military Central Hospital with a symptom of right flank pain. The CT Scan image revealed a 1 cm stone in the upper right ureter of his pelvic kidney. The ureteroscopic lithotripsy was performed and successfully removed the stone after 20 minutes of operation. After 3 week follow-up, the patient was pain-free and stone-free, confirmed by X-ray. Conclusion: In selective cases, ureterscopic lithotripsy seemed to be appropriate for managing ureteral stone of a pelvic kidney.
