A cross sectional investigation was implemented with sample size of 478 workers with the objective as "To describe the situation of workplace accident and related factors to workplace accidents at mechanical enterprises at Xuantien Commune, Xuantruong District, Namdinh Province". The results showed that the proportion of working accident at mechanical enterprises was 19.9 percent , the location of wound by mechanical workplace accidents were from 47.4 percent on foot and 30.5 percent on hands, respectively. Workplace accidents mainly encountered during the morning shiftby 44.2 percent and the afternoon shift is 53.7 percent , the cause of mechanical working accidents mainly due to sharp objects accounted for 40.0 percent , falling and slipping 22.1 percent. There were factors relating between age group and status of workplace accidents with p 0.05 and between occupational age and workplace accidents with p 0.05, respectively.
