Bệnh không lây nhiễm (BKLN) là nhóm bệnh, gây ảnh hưởng nặng đến sức khỏe cộng đồng và sự phát triển kinh tế xã hội do số người mắc bệnh cao, bệnh gây nhiều hậu quả nghiêm trọng và có thể dẫn đến tử vong. Việc hiểu về các đặc điểm phân bố, tỷ lệ tử vong nhóm bệnh không lây tại địa bàn Tỉnh Trà Vinh sẽ góp phần vào các chương trình phòng chống, chiến lược điều trị bệnh trong cộng đồng. Mục tiêu: Mô tả sự phân bố theo số lượng và tỷ lệ phần trăm người tử vong do các bệnh không lây nhiễm ở các độ tuổi của 4 nhóm bệnh không lây nhiễm chính bao gồm đái tháo đường, ung thư, các bệnh tim mạch và bệnh hô hấp mạn tính. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Các trường hợp tử vong tại địa bàn tỉnh Trà Vinh trong thời gian ngày 1/1/2021 – 30/12/2021. Thiết kế nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ đang điều trị và tỷ lệ phát hiện mới ở nhóm bệnh tăng huyết áp (7,1% và 2,8%), ung thư (18,7% và 0,4%) là 2 bệnh lí có tỷ lệ cao hơn so với các bệnh lí còn lại. Số lượng tử vong trong năm 2021 do bệnh tăng huyết (726), ung thư (285) chiếm số lượng cao nhất. Trong đó tỷ lệ tử vong giữa nam và nữa ở các nhóm bệnh tương đương với nhau. Kết luận: Tỷ lệ người dân đang mắc một số BKLN có các hành vi điều trị và dự phòng phù hợp là đáng báo động. Cần có những giải pháp can thiệp giúp người dân nhận thức được tầm quan trọng của việc điều trị và dự phòng bệnh tật.

Understanding the distribution characteristics and mortality rates of non-communicable diseases in Tra Vinh province will contribute to prevention programs and treatment strategies in the community. Objectives: Describe the distribution by number and percentage of deaths from non-communicable diseases by age group of 4 main groups of non-communicable diseases including diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory diseases chronic. Materials and methods: Cases of death in Tra Vinh province during the period from January 1, 2021 to December 30, 2021. Design cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: The rate of treatment and the rate of new detection in the group hypertension (7.1% and 2.8%), and cancer (18.7% and 0.4%) are two diseases with high rates than non-communicable diseases. The number of deaths in 2021 due to hypertension (726), and cancer (285) accounts for the highest number. The mortality rate between men and women in the disease groups is similar. Conclusion: The proportion of people suffering from some non-communicable diseases who have appropriate treatment and prevention behaviors is alarming. It is necessary to have interventions to help people realize the importance of disease treatment and prevention
