Thyroid tumor is a relatively common disease in the world as well as in Vietnam, accounting for 7 percent of the world's population. In Vietnam, thyroid tumors ratio change from 4 percent - 20 percent. The side of treatment, there are 2 methods: surgical and non - surgical. In which, surgical is a key role, contributing important to resolve philosophy tumors. With nostalgic study methods, a cross-sectional study on 72 patients solitary benign thyroid nodules be treated with endoscopic surgery at Binh Dan Hospital from the year 2007 to 2009, which find clinical and subclinical symptom to evaluate results of endoscopic surgery in the treatment of solitary benign thyroid nodules. Results showed no transff]r the open surgery and no mortality. This surgery is. less pain, fewer complications. The side of aesthetic 100 percent no scar in the neck, 100 percent scar on the chest and armpit has completely healed. The study results reinforce the effectiveness of endoscopic surgery in the treatment of solitary benign thyroid nodules that is the basis of personel training, production dedicated endoscopic surgery equipment in the treatment of solitary benign thyroid nodules.
