Xét nghiệm PCR trong chẩn đoán tràn dịch màng phổi do lao tại Bệnh viện Lao và bệnh Phổi Thái Nguyên

Objective: Determinate the diagnostic value of pleural tuberculosis PCR. Method: The diagnostic studies, select the entire sample of 150 patients with pleural effusion in Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases Hospital of Thai Nguyen province from 10/2010 to 10/2012. Results: The diagnosis of TB pleural biopsy reached 100 percent, by PCR (93.42 percent), in culture (28.95 percent), direct microscopy (5.26 percent). Conclusions: PCR in the diagnosis of pleural tuberculosis had Se (93.42 percent), Sp (98.65 percent), PPV (98.61 percent), PNV (93.59 percent). Recommendation: Should test PCR and pleural biopsy for patients with suspected TB effusion.
