Reward plays an important role in researches on learning and memory, which includes natural and artificial stimulations. Brain stimulation reward has been used in behavioral researches having a self-stimulation effect. The study used electrical brain stimulation reward with varied currents and frequencies to evaluate their effecacy on self-stimulation in mice. Self-stimulption responses to stimulation currents and frequencies were compared to those calculated according to Gomperlz's function with the same .variables and established response curves of self-stimulation behavior. The results showed a relevant equivalence between self-stimulation responses to currents and frequencies experimentally and those estimatedby the theoretical function.
