The aim of this study was to assess the clinical performance of resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RM-GI) in non-carious cervical lesions. A total of 70 teeth restored with RM-GI were evaluated by Modified USPHS Criteria. Among the 70 teeth examined, premqlars were most frequently affected (72.86 percent). During the six month assessment, there was a dlecrease in the percentages of teeth with short, sharp pain when being stimulated. After the following six months, the percentage of teeth with short, sharp pain was 4.29 percent, the proportion of retention was 95.71 percent; while 92.86 percent restorations had perfect marginal adaptation. The percentage of restorations with smooth surface was 90 percent, which was the same with that of restorations with excellent color match. Additionally, there was no secondary caries under any restoration.
