
Branchial cyst and fistula are the result of defects in development in neck area of the embryo. They are uncommon clinical problems that can be difficult for diagnosis and treatment. Objectives: Study on clinical symptoms and surgical managements. Patients and methods:A serie of 76 cases observed in the institute of ENThospital from 2002-2006 with branchial cyst and fistula were debated. This was a retrospective and descriptive study. Results: 47.37 percent of patients was female; 52.36 percent was males. Among them, there were 13 cases of the first branchial cleft anomalies; 7 cases of the second branchical cleft anomalies; 56 cases of the fourth branchial pouch cyst and fistula; The recurrence rate were 14.47 percent. Conclusions:The clinical presentations of this disease varied considerably, the recurrence rate was high.
