By comparison method for a before-after evaluation the interventions, through analysis of secondary data, interview officers, soldiers and 300 households on Con Dao island district, the study showed that the effect of civil and military medical center model in Con Dao district. After six years, the civil and military medical center has made positive changes in many aspects: the activity of community healthcare planning, counseling, health education, training and retraining of health workers, military medical services; improve the quality of medical care, increase ability to meet the healthcare needs of the people and soldiers. The medical indicators and healthcare management indicators based on community have improved with the growth of index effect, have proven the maintenance and solid of civil and military medical center model in Con Dao district.
