71 patients (86 knees) were treated by total knee arthroplasty at the Traumatology and Orthopeadics Institute, the No.108 Central Military Hospital from 2001-2011. The mean follow-up time was 40.5 months (ranging 1 year - 10.2 years). The overall result was measured according to the score IKS, the Knee Score (KS) and Knee Function Score (KFS) were comparable between pre- and post-operative. The mean preand KS post-op were 40.06 and 77.2 respectively. The mean pre- and KS post-op were 43.6 and 72.5 respectively (p0.05). The proportion of IKS score in post-op was 66.66 percent at the excellent level, 19.75 percent at the good, 8.64 percent at the fair, and 4.95 percent at the poor level. The average flexion was 98o. The main complications were loosening components, deep infection, stiffness and pain. Conclusion: the results were good and excellent. However, it needs further follow-up for longer time.
