
Objective: Improving the service quality of medical staff and blood donors' satisfaction. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive Result: Investigating 375 donors at blood donation drives of Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center from June 2010 to December 2011, the result showed that: - In pre-donation care : Over 95 percent of respondents were satisfied with the educative information about blood donation, the medical staff, the time, the location and also the arrangement of blood donation process and 34.4 percent of them dissatisfied with the waiting time. - In blood donation: Over 96 percent of respondents were satisfied with medical staff's skills and their attitude. - In post-donation care : 97 percent of donors were satisfied with the instructions after donating provided by medical staff; over 20 percent were dissatisfied with fostering gifts and information about their blood screening results. Conclusion: good quality of donor care service will motivate donors to become regular donor.
