
Background: Cancer treatment is heavy process. It influences to psychology of patients. Objectives: To describe association between anxiety and depression with some geographic factors in cancer patients who are in treatment process at K Hospital in 2013. Subjects and methods: Apply HADS by face to face interview in 299 cancer patients, using crosssectional survey. Results: 11.4 percent patients suffer anxiety, 25.9 percent patients depression, 6.2 percent patients got combine anxiety and depression. Anxiety and depression has association with education level. Women have anxiety higher than in men statistically significant (OR: 5.3; 95 percent CI: 2.2-12.9). Conclusion: Health care staffs need to be concern on anxiety and depression when treatment for cancer patients.
