Estimate the number, position and metastatic rate of lymph node harvested in 135 lower rectal patients, who were undergone laparoscopicabdominoperineal resection. The mean of age was 55.3 (range 25-80), 51 percent males, 48.9 percent females 35.5 percent preoperative radiationtherapy patients, 64.5 percent non-radiationtherapy patients. The number of harvested lymph nodes was1949, mainly found in mesorectum (74.5 percent); mean of harvested lymph nodes in each patient was 14.2. The lymph nodes in preoperative radiationtherapy group was 28.5 percent, metastatic rate of lymph nodes was 37.5 percent patients. The lymph nodes in non-radiationtherapy group was 71.5 percent, metastatic rate of lymph nodes was 65.5 percent patients. Lymph node harvest in laparoscopic abdominoperineal resection at K hospital in each patient was 14.2. Lymph node's position was mainly in mesorectum (74.5 percent). The metastatic rate of lymph nodes were smaller in preoperative radiationtherapy group.
