This study was carried out in order to estimate the change of myocardial performance index (Tei index) among patients. The subjects were 74 choronic failure renal patients in Hospital 103 with average age of 34,54 + or - 10,05 they were divided into two groups: group 1 included 30 patients without hemodyalisis and group 2 included 44 patients with hemodyalisis. The results showed that, the left ventricular Tei index of chronic failure renal patients was increased (0,82 + or - 0,12). However, the Tei index of group 2 was lower than that of group 1, it means that the left ventricular function was recovered in patients with hemodyalisis. The chronic failure renal patients started occuring failure right ventricular with right ventricular Tei index of 0,36 + or - 0,19. The right' ventricular function was also recovered in patients with hemodyalisis who had right ventricular Tei index of 0,33 + or - 0,17.
