
Branchial fistulae are the results of defects in development in neck area of the embryo. They are uncommon clinical problems that can be difficult for diagnosis and treatment. Objectives: study on pathological and clinical features of the second branchial fistulae. Patients and methods: A serie of 30 cases observed in ENT hospital from 2006-2010 with the second branchial fistula. This was a descriptive study. Results: Males was 66.6 percent, females was 33.4 percent. 40 percent of cases the internal orifice fistula was not found. The internal orifice fistula found at the inferior pole of tonsils in 33.4 percent. The fistulae tracts were found in 100 percent of cases. Conciusions:The clinical presentations of this disease varied considerably, The fistulae tracts were found in almost of cases with stable route.
