
Objective: Investigation the Erythema nodosum at the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venerology from 1/2007 to 12/2011. Materiel and Method: The cross-sectional study basing on data of 648 patients with Erythema nodosum from 1/2007 to 12/2011. Results: During 5 years, there were 648 patients with erythema nodosum, accounting for 0.07 percent of patients with skin diseases, and 3.4 percent of them were hospitalized, 10,6 percent of patients were recidives. It was more frequent in woman than man with ratio 4/1(79 percent versus 21 percent, p 0.05). The peak incidence of Erythema nodosum is between 20-49 years of age with 74,2 percent. The disease was distributed evenly between the months of the year, however the highest number of patients was in June with 11.7 percent and the lowest was in February with 3.4 percent. Erythema nodosum was more frequent in patients living in urban area (60.5 percent) than in rural area. Conclusion: During 5 years, erythema nodosum accounts for 0.07 percent of patients with skin diseases at the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venerology from 1/2007 to 12/2011, and 3.4 percent of them were hospitalized, 10,6 percent of them were recidives. Erythema nodosum were more frequent in woman than man. The peak incidence is between 20-49 years of age.
