Study on 45 patiens, who had extra-articular distal femoral fracture, were treated by retrograde nailing with SIGN interlocking nail in 87 Hospital from June 2007 to June 2010. Conclusion: - Nearly results on 42 patients: 100 percent primary wound healing; 91,1 percent cured deflexion and 88,9 percent steadily bone linking. - Further results on 42 patiens: excellent 73,8 percent; good 21,4 percent; average 4,8 percent; there isn't bad result. Advantages of using SIGN interlocking nail for treatment extra-articular distal femoral fracture: surgical technique isn't too complex, there is few complication, patient can practice to mobilize early, better functional recovery, faster bone healing.
