Background and aims: Knowledge, attitudes and behavior of leprosy-contacted people affects the integration ofleprosy patients in the community. The study evaluates the reintegration of disabled leprosy patients in the leprosy treatment facilities. Materials and Methods: The near, far contacted people and healthcare workers are surveyed with KAP interview form and disabled leprosy patients are asked for investigating community integration through questionnaires and SALSA test and participation scales. Results: 74.1 percent of close-contacted, 66.4 percent of far-contacted people and 91.2 percent of healthcare workers know the disease of leprosy. 92 percent of close-contacted, 77.1 percent of far-contacted people and 97.7 percent of health workers were not afraid of contact with leprosy patients. 55.1 percent ofclose-contacted, 72.2 percent offar-contacted people were ready to explain to other people about leprosy. The screening of activi,ty limitation and safety awareness was average 32.96 + or - 9.57. The safety awareness score of disabled leprosy patients was 3.58 + or - 4.03. The limited participation in community activities is disabled leprosy patients was 33.74 + or - 10.34 surveyed have limited reach and serious style in urban area (33.87 + or - 10.52) than heavy with village style (32.62 + or - 8.62). Conclusions: Disabled leprosy patients in leprosy treatment centers and villages have low community integration. Leprosy Control Programme and the healthcare network enhance education, counseling, economic assistance, and help leprosy patients to reintergration into the community.
