Tỷ lệ và một số nguyên nhân gây tử vong trẻ em tại bệnh viện trẻ em Hải Phòng (2010-2011)

Retrospective study on 357 medical records of child deaths at Haiphong Chiidren Hospital in two years: 2010-2011. The results showed: Total number of child deaths is: 357 of which the boy: 45.92 percent, the girl: 45.38 percent. Age group has a high mortality rate: 1 year of age (15.97 percent), especially infant mortality 7 days accounted for the highest percentage (68.63 percent). Cause of death: premature accounting for 56.54 percent; severe pneumonia and respiratory failure: 7.07 percent; congenital heart 7.07 percent, birth asphyxia 8.48 percent and other causes: 15.54 percent.
