
The human papiloma virus (HPV) infection is the high risk of cervical cancer which is a common cause of deaths due to cancers among women. The objective of the study is to identify HPV types and cervical cytology among reproductive aged women. Results showed that there were 48 women with positive HPV (24.87 percent). Among them there were 23 cases were not identified by types (11.92 percent). Among 15 identified cases, there were 12 cases with single type, 2 cases with two types and one case with three types (0.5 percent). By level of risks, there were 12 cases with high risk (6.26 percent), three cases with low risk (1.51 percent). The cytological diagnosis was normal (87.3 percent). Particularly, there was one case with HPV high risk, one case with HPV low risk and 5 cases with other types but cytological diagnosis shown no diseases. The 9 remaining cases with high risks were distributed in LSIL (3),cervicitis (3) and vaginitis (3).
