Bệnh sốt do virus Zika là bệnh truyền nhiễm virus cấp tính và được lan truyền thông qua vết đốt của muỗi vằn Aedes aegypti và Aedes albopictus. Hiện nay, nhiễm virus Zika không còn là sự kiện y tế cộng động khẩn cấp gây quan ngại quốc tế nhưng những hậu qua do nhiễm virus Zika vẫn là một thách thức y tế cộng đồng. Nghiên cứu này được tiến hành nhằm đánh giá sự lưu hành của virus Zika trong bệnh nhân bị sốt chưa rõ nguyên nhân đến thăm khám, điều trị tại Bệnh viện tỉnh Tây Ninh năm 2022 - 2023. Phân tích tổng 484 mẫu bằng phương pháp realtime RT-PCR sử dụng enzyme SuperScript IV RT. Mẫu chứng dương là chủng virus ZIKV đã được phân lập bất hoạt. Mồi và Probe được sử dụng theo quy trình Bộ Y tế. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, tỷ lệ nhiễm virus Zika tập trung nhiều nhất ở độ tuổi 15 - 60 là 55.11% (46/90). Huyện Tân Châu chiếm tỷ lệ dương tính nhiều hơn với 21.69%.
The Zika virus fever is an acute viral infection transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Currently, Zika virus infection is no longer considered a global public health emergency of international concern, but the consequences of Zika virus infection continue to pose a community health challenge. This study was conducted to assess the circulation of Zika virus in patients with undifferentiated fever attending consultation and treatmnet at Tay Ninh provincial hospital in 2022 - 2023. A total of 484 were analyzed using real-time RT-PCR method with SuperScript IV RT enzyme. The positive control samples were ZIKV virus strains that had been inactivated. Primers and Probes were used according to Ministry of Health procedures. The study results showed that the highest Zika virus infection rate was concentrated in the age group 15 - 60, accounting for 55.11% (46/90). Tan Chau district accounts for a higher positive rate with 21.69%.
