Dính khớp thái dương hàm dẫn đến giới hạn vận động lồi cầu xương hàm dưới. Chúng tôi giới thiệu một trường hợp phụ nữ 55 tuổi bị dính khớp thái dương hàm hoàn toàn sau chấn thương gãy lồi cầu và cành lên xương hàm dưới từ nhỏ. Hình ảnh trên phim Cone beam cho thấy lồi cầu xương hàm dưới trái dính hoàn toàn trong khi phần đầu gãy của cành lên tạo thành 1 ổ khớp giả trong hố thái dương.
Ankylosis of the mandibular condyle to the skull base can be caused by temporomandibular joint dysfunction, trauma, infection or systemic disease.... Temporomandibular joint ankylosis cause limitation of mandibular condyle movement. We present a case of a 55-year-old woman with complete temporomandibular joint fusion following a childhood trauma created fracture of the mandibular condyle. Cone beam image shows that the left mandibular condyle is fully fused while the broken tip of the Ramus forms a pseudoarticular socket in the temporal fossa.
