
Objectives. to identify clinical features of diabetic foot in elderly diabetic patients. Methods. observational study on 356 elderly diabetic patients from June 2011 to June 2012. Results: The rate of diabetic foot complications among diabetic elderly patients was 62,1 percent. Most of them are co-complication. Diabetic neuropathy foot (55.7 percent) includes of calluses and corn (44.8 percent), decreased Achilles tendon reflex (41.5 percent), sensor impairement (38.2 percent), O1arcot foot (1.6 percent). Peripheral vascular disease (22.6 percent) includes of claudication (1 percent), ulceration (2.6 percent), gangrene (1 percent). Condusion: the prevalence of diabetic foot in older ages was rather high, particularly diabetic neuropathy foot and co-complication.
