
Purpose: Evaluating of incidence rate and complications of lithotripsy through Kehr tunnel. Methods: Case series. During 11 years at Binh Dan Hospital, 922 patients tunneled Kehr tube had been examined and treated at Binh Dan Hospital. These patients having recurrent or remaining stones in bile duct were performed with lithotripsy treatment. They are included in the sample research. Results: The mean age 45.4 +/- 8.3; the ratio of complete clearance of stones is 95.5 percent. Most patients were evaluated grade I, II. 3.8 percent had 5 or 6 times lithotripsy. Length of hospitalization 15 days is 68.3 percent. The complications during lithotripsy noted are: bleeding due to biliary lithotripsy (4.9 percent), endoscopic tube puncturing tunnel Kehr (1.2 percent), patients with hypothennia (1.8 percent) that is in need of note. The clinical disorders such as pain, fever, bleeding at tunnel Kehr foot, and infection around the pins Kehr drain. Conclusion: To sum up, during the past 11 years, with lithotripsy Kehr tunnel at Binh Dan Hospital, complications, clinical disorders after lithotripsy at the time of discharge is relatively small, and this is still a treatment of biliary stones deserved attention.
