Objectives: 1) Describe the model effects through changes in blood pressure of hypertensive patients managed by the integrated model for hypertension's prevention and control in Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province. 2) Estimate treatment costs of hypertensive patients managed by the integrated model for hypertension prevention and control in Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province. Study design: study on evaluation of post-intervention. Study subject: Hypertensive patients living in 5 communes of Dong Hy, Thai Nguyen. Results: With the whole sample, the mean systolic blood pressure was reduced by 13.7 mmHg and the mean diastolic blood pressure was reduced by 6.7 mm Hg.
