Ojectlves: to preliminarily evaluate the result of the endoscopic frontal recess surgery on the patients of chronic frontal sinusls. Methods: (1) 55 patients of the chronic frontal sinusis have been evalueated by the Rhino-endoscope and cr scan pre-operation and after operation 6 months. (2) Endoscopic frontal recess surgery has been done for these patients. Results and conclusions: The singel lateral frontal sinusis (17 percent) ofent caused by malformations of the frontal sinus. These cases have good result with suregry of radical removing the malformations. The lateral frontal sinusis combined with maxillo- eithmoiditis (59 percent) has caused from the chronic maxillo-eithmoiditis. These cases only perfomed the endoscopic maxillo-eithmoidectomy surgery has also a good result for the frontal sinusis. The bilateral frontal sinusis (27 percent) is ofent relationed with the general cause as: GER (gastroesophageal reflux) or endocrinopathy... These cases have to combine with treatment of the genenal cases.
