
Introduction and objective: Different surgical procedures of corporoplasty have been applied for correcting congenital penile curvature. the authors present result in patients who were treated with Yachia corporoplasty. Patients and Methods: Thirty patients with congenital penis deviation were treated for penile curvature by Yachia procedure from 02/2009 to 08/2012. Mean age of the group was 26.8 percent 6.6 years. The preoperative penile deviation angle was 25° in all patients. The main symptom of congenital penile curvature was a difficulty in vaginal intercourse. The length of follow-up ranged from 3 months and 36 months. Results: Out of the 30 patients, 26 (86.67 percent) were successfully treated. The mean of penile shortening after the surgery was 1.56cm + or - 0.8. Conclusion: the results indicate that Yachia procedure offers good functional and cosmetic results. Most patients have been satisfied with the improved penile angle correction. No patient has experienced erectile dysfunction as a consequence of the Yachia procedure.
