
The study was to describe the results of colposcopy of the patients with abnormal vaginal cervical cytology at National hospital for obstetrics and gynecology in 2011. The results showed that 41.6 percent benign lesions and 53.3 percent suspected lesions in cervix. Discharge is the main symptoms of cervical lesion (89.3 percent benign lesions and 20.5 percent suspected lesions). Abnormal bleeding or combination of the two symtoms was more popular in the abnormal lesions (18.8 percent and 20.5 percent). 82.2 percent of patients with abnormal vaginal cervical cytology have history of inflammatory treatment. In conclusion, 41.9 percent lesions were begin, 53.3 percent lesions are suspected. Discharge and a history of inflammatory treatment was associated with abnormal cervical lesions.
