Objective: The prognosis and management of all chronic liver diseases strongly depend on the degree of liver fibrosis and particularly on the existence of cirrhosis or not. Recently nonivasive methods for the diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and prognosis have been extensively developed. the authors assessed the biological scores for the prediction of severe in cirrhotic patients. Methods: 2011-2012: 112 patients were included in this study, diagnosied as cases of liver cirrhosis. Laboratory routine tests were performed in Bach Mai hospital and, platelet, AST/ALT ratio, APRI, FORNS, Child Pugh score were assessed in all patients. Results: A significant correlation was seen between Child Pugh and change of Platelet (r = -0.369), APRI (r = 0.365)FORNS (r = 0.312). Using cut off values 111 for Platelet 1.79 for AAR 3.16 for APRI 8.77 FORNS to diagnosis of Child A with AUROC 0.756; 0.731; 0.87; 0.765. Using cut off values of.80 for Platelet; 2.0 for AAR,3.96 for APRI, 9.61 FORNS to diagnosis of Child C with AUROC 0,689; 0,725; 0,701; 0,654. Conclusions: There was a high correlation between the Fibrosis tests and liver functin suggesting that they may have prognostic value.
