Objectives: To study the physical index and some biochemical data of a group of military personnel aged 40-60, contributing to improving the effectiveness of treatment and prevention at the unit. Subject and Method: The study was conducted on 946 military personnel aged 40 to 60 who were in a periodic health examination in the No.108 Central Military Hospital. The percentage of low birthweight infants in the control group was 1.9 percent and the study group 0.5 percent; the rate of overweight people in the control group was 30.5 percent and the study group 37.9 percent); the normal ratio in the control group was 49.8 percent and in the study group 39.9 percent. The levels of biochemical indices of the team are as follows: Glucose: 4.46 +/- 0.96 mmol/l; Cholesterol: 5.40 +/- 1.09 mmol/l; Triglyceride: 2.49 +/- 2,30mmol/l; HDL-C: 1.13 +/- 0.28 mmol/l; LDL-C: 3.36 +/- 0.90 mmol/l; GOT: 25.79 +/- 11.47 U/l; GPT: 27.36 +/- 16.56 U/l; GGT: 63.09 +/- 61.29 U/l; Uric acid: 373.07 +/- 83,73umol/l. Conclusion: There were differences between BMI values and the underweight, overweight, normal proportions in the two groups; the order was p 0.05; 0.001 and 0.01. There were significantly statistical differences in the concentration and rate of abnormal indicators (glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL - C, uric acid, GGn between the study group and control group.
